A Journey Built on Systems & Technology

Colinas Foods represents the convergence of Monterrey engineering roots, ERP systems technology, and deep Mexican meat processing experience. Founded in 2015 by Industrial & Systems Engineer Emilio Salazar (ITESM Monterrey), the platform was built on one central philosophy: every successful manufacturing operation needs structure, visibility, and robust controls.

Today, our 17,000 sqft facility in Round Rock, Texas, runs on a custom-built Sapi ERP platform, enabling institutional-grade traceability and yield controls that rival $50M+ operations. The heavy lifting of build-out and safety certifications is behind us, and we are built to scale.

The Strategic Advantage

Food Safety

Dual-certified USDA and SQF (Excellent). Institutional-grade compliance opens doors to national retail and major foodservice contracts.

Manufacturing Edge

Turn-key co-manufacturing solutions with high-throughput equipment and a highly trained workforce dedicated to yield optimization.

Strategic Location

Centrally located in Round Rock, Texas. Proximate to major distribution hubs, population centers, and crucial protein supply chains.

Growth Capacity

Built for scale. The existing facility footprint can absorb significantly higher production volume, driving massive margin expansion.

Executing on Demand

We are rapidly expanding our footprint through strategic distribution and retail partnerships across the Southwest.

Ben E. Keith

Deepening penetration within this premier regional distributor's network to capture new foodservice market share.

US Foods

Leveraging national foodservice channels to push high-volume, margin-accretive products.

PFG

Expanding offerings through Performance Food Group to diversify institutional client exposure.

PAK Retail

Strategic entry into specialized retail markets demanding premium, compliant protein products.

Private Label

Building long-term, recurring revenue by serving as the manufacturing engine behind established consumer brands.

A Derisked Operational Baseline

Our financial profile reflects a highly functional production engine ready for scale. The infrastructure is built; the next phase is pure volume.

The Margin Inflection Point

A 14.4% gross margin indicates a lean, highly capable manufacturing floor. The current 2.1% operating margin highlights our exact strategic inflection point: the facility is currently absorbing the fixed overheads necessary for institutional-grade compliance.

As we inject capital to drive automation and sales capacity, volume will dramatically increase without proportional overhead growth. This dynamic lowers the marginal cost per pound, meaning future revenue expansion will yield significantly higher EBITDA margins.

The Inflection Point

Timing is critical. We have crossed the threshold of stabilization and are entering the phase of rapid equity value creation.

Infrastructure Complete

The capital-intensive heavy lifting of facility build-out and certification is fully behind us.

Market Demand

Rising demand for specialized, compliant regional co-manufacturing outpaces available capacity.

Margin Leverage

Next dollars of revenue drop significantly to the bottom line due to existing absorbed overhead.
